Back when they were living The Simple Life! Kim Kardashian took a trip down memory lane on Wednesday, Feb. 18, when she sorted through some old things and found a photo of herself with former BFF Paris Hilton in 2006.
In the pic, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star goes without her usual full face of makeup, opting instead for bare, glowing skin. Her brown locks are piled high in a messy ponytail, and she wears a low-cut black halter top.
Hilton, meanwhile, sports a tropical-print halter and what looks like a low bun. She has her arm around Kardashian and another, unidentified friend who's been cropped out of the shot.
"Found this pic while unpacking! It's from 2006 in Ibiza," Kanye West's wife, 34, tweeted to her 29.1 million followers. Then, giving a shout-out to the hotel heiress, who celebrated turning 34 on Feb. 17, she added, "Happy belated birthday @ParisHilton."
These days, of course, Kardashian is famous in her own right. But back in the early 2000s, she was best known as Hilton's assistant on The Simple Life.
The childhood pals were inseparable until 2008, when they had a well-known falling out. Hilton memorably dissed her ex-friend's famous butt, calling it "gross" and saying it reminded her "of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag."
The two were not seen together for several years after that, but they reunited last year in — where else? — Ibiza, Spain, at designer Riccardo Tisci's birthday party in August.
"Reminiscing about the 1st time we went to Ibiza in 2006!" Kardashian wrote at the time, sharing a photo of the former besties laughing it up at a club. "@parishilton it was so good to see you & catch up!! Loves it lol."
