Kirk Cameron Attends Jessa Duggar’s Wedding With His Daughters, Talks Importance of Saving First Kiss For Marriage

One wedding invitation not Left Behind! On Saturday, Nov. 1, Jessa Duggar and her fiancé Ben Seewald hosted around 1,000 guests at their wedding in Bentonville, Ark. One of those guests was a bonafide Hollywood celeb: Growing Pains alum Kirk Cameron

The Left Behind actor, 44, posted a picture with the now-newlyweds to his official Facebook page on Monday, Nov. 3. 

“Duggar Wedding Couple!” he captioned the picture. 

Cameron, who was an atheist until he became a born-again, fundamentalist Christian at the age of 17, went on to reveal that he and his daughters were invited to the nuptials and the rehearsal dinner the night before.

“We flew to the Duggar hometown, not only to be part of the fun and excitement of honoring this precious couple, but as a father, I want my daughters to see what it looks like when a couple reserves their ‘first kiss’ for at the altar,” the father of six wrote. “Wow! This kind of moral excellence and purity is rare today, but our sons and daughters are priceless. This dad has only a few years to etch these meaningful images on the minds of his children.”

He went on to say that the 19 Kids and Counting stars made their guests swear not to divulge the details of the ceremony, but Us Weekly learned that Jessa and Ben saved their first kiss for after the wedding in order to have some privacy. Find out more details about Jessa and Ben's big day.

The older brother of Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure also gave some insight into what happened after the beautiful ceremony.

“We were invited to the Duggars house after for volleyball, campfire singing, and dessert till 1:30 am,” he wrote. “We even got to worship together at church the next morning and Jim Bob and Michelle were excited to share with family and friends about Saving Christmas (www.SavingChristmas.com)!
