It’s been six tumultuous months since Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick called it quits on their nine-year relationship, but the reality star just wants to live and let live, she told Ellen DeGeneres in a new interview, set to air on Monday, January 25.
“We’re not together,” the mother of three clarified when DeGeneres pointedly asked her what the status of their relationship is. “I feel like every day is different, but we’re totally getting along. Like, we have three beautiful kids together … He’s family. He’ll always be.”
Kardashian, 36, and Disick, 32, are parents to Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 13 months, and have occasionally been spotted together in the months since their headline-making split.
Their cordial relationship doesn’t mean a reconciliation is in the works, though.
Disick was most recently snapped hanging at a strip club in Los Angeles with Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga, and Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend, James Harden, on Monday, January 18. (Just a few days earlier, the troubled reality star stuck to water while at a club in Las Vegas; he left rehab in November.)
And earlier this month, Kardashian opened up about dealing with anxiety following their split in a post on her website, just hours after Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Disick was dating Swedish model Lina Sandberg.
“Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently. I’m generally not a nervous person but I get anxious,” she said in a message to fans. “I also get nauseated; I feel like I can’t eat when it is really bad, but I force myself to stay healthy. … One thing I’ve found that really helps is working out.” Click here to see Kourtney’s amazing post-split body.
The stress of their breakup has followed Kardashian for months. In a clip from the January 24 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians set to air on Sunday, January 24, Kardashian appears tired as she chats with mom Kris Jenner about their split.
“It’s really about him deciding just what kind of life he wants to live,” she says during a confessional.
