What's cookin' for this Kardashian? Kris Jenner called in to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio program on Tuesday, Oct. 21, and addressed the rumors about estranged husband Bruce Jenner dating her longtime best friend, Ronda Kamihira.
"I have no idea what Bruce does in his personal time," the mother of six said. "We've been apart for a long time." As exclusively revealed by Us Weekly, the spouses of 23 years separated in 2013. Kris officially filed for divorce last month.
Still, the reality star, who shares daughters Kylie and Kendall with Bruce, had only kind words for the former Olympian. "He is the greatest guy, a wonderful dad, and he and I are good friends," she revealed. "Everybody is very happy. I know I’m in a really good place. And I hope he is too. I hope he’s doing his thing and having a good time."
Adding to her happiness? Having her kids Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie close by. "Khloe and Kourtney just moved in up the street," she said. (Kim and Kanye West are currently living with Kris in her Calabasas, Calif., home.) "So we have all of us four and Scott [Disick], and all the kids are in the same neighborhood, which is really wonderful because all the cousins get to grow up together," she noted of her grandkids Mason, 4, Penelope, 2, and North, 16 months. "Little Miss Kendall moved across town, Kylie lives upstairs, Rob lives with Khloe. So I’ve kind of got tabs on it right now."
The doting mother also discussed family meals, the subject of her new cookbook, In the Kitchen with Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites. "I love the pasta primavera because it feeds a whole bunch of people and it’s great for family style and it’s beautiful when you put it on the table," she told Seacrest.
"It’s stuff I’ve been making literally since I was a teenager," she continued of her recipes. "I got married really young and had Kourtney really young, and started making a whole bunch of different dishes. I went to cooking school and then every family member as everybody got older started pointing out their favorites. So this is a compilation of everything I love to cook for everyone and everyone’s favorite things I make."
According to Kris, the child who most takes after their mother's culinary talents is none other than Khloe. "She's a really talented chef," Kris told Us on Monday at the Angel Ball.
In an interview with Domaine Home, the proud mom said she was hoped to eventually pass Thanksgiving dinner on to Khloe. "We all love to cook, but I think Khloe takes it to another level," she said. "She really does love all of my recipes and comes up with some of her own. It’s really fun to cook with Khloe, and I hope she will really enjoy doing Thanksgiving as much as I always have."
