Get ready to see Lance Bass officially tear up some hearts and tie the knot with his love Michael Turchin! On Thursday, Feb. 5, the former ‘N Sync boy bander’s televised wedding will air on E!
“It’s crazy because I just came out seven, eight years ago, and I remember when I came out, half the world was just hating it,” Bass, 35, recalled to Us Weekly. “It was miserable at the time of how much hatred was poured out toward me. Then just a few years later, there’s a same-sex wedding on television that I’m involved with and there’s just an outpouring of love.”
The couple only had about eight to 10 weeks to plan their big day, which includes supermodel flower girls and their parents walking them down the aisle.
Bass came out as gay in 2006 and began dating Turchin, now 28, in January 2011. He presented the painter with two engagement rings, the first of which in September 2013, and they married on Dec. 20, 2014.
