Leah Messer Is ‘So Over’ ‘Teen Mom 2’: ‘Love This Fake A#% TV Show’

Reality TV isn’t so real — at least according to Teen Mom 2‘s Leah Messer.

The MTV personality, 23, slammed the series in which she stars after watching its Monday, April 18, episode, which she claims was unfairly edited.

The scene that Messer took issue with shows her sitting down for dinner with her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, and discussing the demise of their marriage.

Over a few drinks, the twice-divorced mom of three passionately told Calvert: “Like, you were the one person, I thought, like, I couldn’t imagine myself being with anyone else. I’m telling you, like, mmm …”

Despite Messer’s emotional confession, the West Virginia native was met with a rather dry response from the father of her 3-year-old daughter, Adalynn. “You buzzin’?” Calvert asked.

“A little bit,” Messer admitted with a smile. “Because I don’t ever drink.”

The 16 & Pregnant alum then went on to apologize for all of the “mistakes” she made during their relationship before Calvert told her that he “tried” and “gave up” on making it work.

Messer tearfully told Calvert, “So we shouldn’t have just gave up.” Next, the scene cut to Calvert seemingly disregarding Messer’s comment by staying silent on the topic of their marriage.

But there was a part of the conversation that MTV apparently left on the cutting-room floor — and Messer is none too pleased about it.

“I’m 99.9% sure those feelings were mutual. I could go into detail, but wont,” she tweeted to her 1.24 million followers. “Oh, how I love this fake a#% TV show #SoOverIt.”

This isn’t the first time Messer has publicly objected to how MTV has portrayed her on Teen Mom 2. Back in March, the reality starlet claimed that the network edited her story line on its season 7 premiere to gain more viewership for the long-running series.

“It’s so sad how the person behind the editing can even live a happy life by editing to manipulate the audience watching,” Messer hit back on social media at the time. “It makes me feel like my life story isn’t enough.”

Teen Mom 2 airs on MTV Mondays at 10 p.m. ET.
