The Blair Waldorf/Seth Cohen crossover the world has been dreaming of may never come to be, but real-life newlyweds Leighton Meester and Adam Brody did team up for the film Life Partners, which recently debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival.
The Gossip Girl veteran, 28, appeared on The View on Wednesday, April 23 to promote her Broadway play, Of Mice and Men, with costars James Franco and Chris O'Dowd, but was quickly asked about working with her new hubby.
"I always want to work with people that I like and love and people that I'm friends with," the notoriously private actress teased. "It's nice to mix business with pleasure."
Though she remained relatively tight-lipped about her main man, her theater costars couldn't be more complimentary.
"He's the sweetest guy!" Franco exclaimed. "He's the best guy."
Bridesmaids star O'Dowd poked fun at the Country Strong star, quipping, "You're going to marry a different guy from every job from now on!"
