Lewis Hamilton is beaming over Kim Kardashian’s support.
“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support,” Hamilton, 41, told reporters after the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, June 7. “But, you know, with my friends, incredible turnout, just overall, the people. It’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day.”
Sunday’s press conference marked the first time Hamilton has spoken about his budding relationship with Kardashian, 45.
After the Formula 1 driver finished second in Sunday’s race, the organization’s official Instagram account posted a video of Kardashian filming Hamilton during the trophy presentation. He appeared to blow her a kiss after being given his award. Kardashian could be seen smiling and clapping while looking at the athlete.
The couple had a PDA-filled weekend in Monaco, with Hamilton hugging Kardashian and kissing her on the cheek in a separate video shared on Sunday. Days before their trip, Kardashian confirmed their romance on Instagram, posting a photo and video with Hamilton as they took a bike ride together.
Romance rumors between Kardashian and Hamilton started swirling in late January. Us Weekly confirmed in February that Kardashian had kicked off a romantic relationship with Hamilton.
“She has felt ready to put herself back out there recently,” a source told Us at the time, explaining that things were “casual” because they had only been on “a few dates.”
It seems things have escalated since then.
“Everyone around her wants her to be happy after everything she has gone through,” the same insider added, referring to Kardashian’s previous marriage to Kanye West, with whom she shares four kids.
Following her 2021 split from West, 49, the reality star moved on with Pete Davidson. She was with the Saturday Night Live alum for nine months before their August 2022 breakup.
Kardashian was also briefly linked to Odell Beckham Jr.
“It was never serious between Kim and Odell, but they are taking a pause on seeing each other,” a source told Us in May 2024. “It was always casual, but Kim has been really busy with other priorities and isn’t putting in as much effort. The dynamic lost its spark, but they are still friends.”
The insider added, “They are still on good terms, and both agreed it’s best they stay friends. Odell is gearing up for season training, and they both knew it was never a long-term relationship.”
