Now that’s what you call some major bling! There was no hiding Liberty Ross’s enormous engagement ring when she and fiancé Jimmy Iovine stepped out for a night on the town in Hollywood on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The 36-year-old British model, who wore a form-fitting, blue long-sleeved dress and a bright red lip, looked happy as she and music executive Iovine, 62, enjoyed an evening together just days after Us Weekly exclusively confirmed the couple’s engagement.
The pair first began “spending time together” back in February 2013, the same month she told the Associated Press that she was “listening to her heart,” and one month after she filed for divorce from her then-husband of 11 years, director Rupert Sanders.
Sanders, 44, famously cheated on Ross with Kristen Stewart, the star of his blockbuster, Snow White and the Huntsman, in the summer of 2012, Us Weekly revealed in a series of exclusive photos.
“I have no words to describe what we went through,” Ross told Vanity Fair in December 2013. “But I think, for me, something always has to completely die for there to be a rebirth. And, for me, I feel like I’m going through a rebirth.”
She and Sanders share two young children together — daughter Skyla and son Tennyson.
Time definitely did appear to heal all wounds. In addition to her relationship with Iovine, Ross proved that she’s moved on when she spoke of the headline-making affair to Harper’s Bazaar UK in 2014.
“It’s amazing what two years does,” she said in an interview for the September issue. “Today, I feel happier than I’ve ever felt, and I’m in such a great place. …People need to learn to forgive. I have no problem with anyone involved. I’m completely compassionate, I really am. No life is perfect, we all have our problems and issues and I believe that it’s good to be true to who you are.”
