Lindsay Hubbard has nothing to say about Matt James.
“By the way, there are rumors about you and Matt James hooking up?” Andy Cohen asked Lindsay, 39, during the Tuesday, July 7 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “[What’s] happening?”
Hubbard played coy from the WWHL audience while replying.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Andy,” she replied, but Cohen, 58, was not having any of it.
“Yes, you do,” he responded. “You’re very online.”
Hubbard agreed that she is “very online” before continuing.
“There are a lot of rumors about all of us because we’re all single,” she added. “It’s going to be a hot single summer.”
Cohen was referring to a photo shared by Instagram gossip account Deux Moi earlier this month, claiming that Hubbard and James, 34, arrived at a New York City event together.
“Lindsay Hubbard walked into the event with Matt James, who it seemed like was her plus one,” the social media post read, noting that fellow Summer House star and Hubbard’s ex Carl Radke was also in attendance. Elsewhere in the evening, Hubbard was apparently having dinner with James and some of her In the City costars.
“Matt had his arm around Lindsay and he was caressing her shoulder in a flirty, cute way,” the post alleged. “It definitely looked like they were flirting. Thought it was cute that they were all at the same table hanging out and having fun together, including Carl!”
Hubbard responded to the post on July 2.
“Oh s*** cute and flirty?” she wrote. “I’ll take it.”
Hubbard’s dating life has been one story line on the first season of Bravo’s In the City, with the reality star attempting to get back out there while navigating first-time motherhood. (Hubbard and ex Turner Kufe share daughter Gemma, 18 months.)
Hubbard got emotional during a recent episode of In the City when discussing her “abandonment issues” and how it impacted her choice in romantic partners.
“I can’t sit here and say it’s all their fault. And I can’t sit here and say it’s all my fault,” she said in the show’s June 30 episode. “I do think I choose partners that aren’t necessarily, like, healthy for me.”
Hubbard looked back on her relationships with Radke and Kufe, specifically.
“Carl had a whole f***ing bag of issues that he’s still working through. But like, what happened at the end of the day? He wound up abandoning me,” she said, in part. ““What happened with my baby daddy? He wound up abandoning me.”
