When Jackson Olson takes the field during some of his biggest games to date, he’ll have an extra special cheerleader in the stands.
Just a couple of weeks after hard-launching his relationship with Maggie Sajak, daughter of famed gameshow host Pat Sajak, the Savannah Bananas baseball player was able to have his girlfriend attend one of his recent games.
“Bananas win… and so did we 😊 ,” Olson, 28, shared via Instagram on Sunday, May 10, after playing at Atlanta Truist Park.
In the cute couple’s photo, Olson kissed his girlfriend on the forehead after he played in the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour. As for Sajak, 31, she was all smiles as she wore denim jeans and a yellow — the team’s official color — top.
“Ily guys,” Olson’s teammate Alex “Ziggy” Ziegler wrote in the comments section. Derek Klena added, “QT’s.”
As a romantic twist, both Olson and Sajak shared the photos to their respective Instagram Stories and added Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” to the post.
On April 21, the couple surprised fans when they hard-launched their relationship during a visit to Disney World in Florida.
“Applications closed✅,” Olson wrote via Instagram at the time, confirming he was no longer single.
Despite living on opposite sides of the country — Olson’s home base is Georgia, while Sajak lives in Los Angeles as she works as Wheel of Fortune’s social correspondent — both parties are making it work as they try to spend quality time together.
“It’s really cool because we’re obviously living very different lives right now on the opposite side of the country, but we’re able to come together and just have an awesome relationship,” Olson exclusively gushed to Us Weekly on May 1. “I feel like in any relationship, you’re trying to figure out how to see each other as frequently as possible, which is never something that I thought in my past I was going to want to do … but now I really do.”
When he knows Sajak is in the stands, Olson joked that he wants to impress his girlfriend when he’s out on the baseball field.
At the same time, he won’t forget about the Savannah Bananas mission to take chances, bend the rules and focus on being fans first.
“I start sweating and I’m like, ‘I can’t strike out because then I have to hit a home run.’ Even though I do strike out a decent amount,” Olson told Us of his pregame nerves. “I’ve gotten that out of the way of, like, the nerves there. Every person that I care about in my life has seen me play with the Bananas now, so it’s smooth sailing. If I play poorly, whatever, it’s life. We’re not playing for a World Series here.”
