Marcello Hernandez is addressing those viral rumors Paige DeSorbo cheated on then-boyfriend Craig Conover with the SNL star.
“She said, ‘People are saying I cheated on my boyfriend with you,’” Hernandez, 28, said during a Monday, July 27, appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, reading text messages he exchanged with DeSorbo, 33, as online speculation that something romantic occurred between the pair hit a fever pitch.
“I said, ‘LOL, what?’ Then she said, ‘Some girl on TikTok, LOL.’ I said, ‘TikTok wants me to be Domingo. Marcello Hernández, the homewrecking Latino,” he continued. “She said, ‘Hahahahahaha.’” (Hernandez went viral on social media for his role as Domingo, a man who interrupts a couple’s wedding to admit to hooking up with the bride, in multiple Saturday Night Live sketches.)
Hernandez then joked, “It was not as funny to me.”
Comedian Kevin Hart, also a guest on the episode, told Hernandez, “It’s very true, I just saw the text messages. … You know, you could’ve just said, ‘That’s a lie,’ you didn’t have to do that.”
Hernandez replied, “They like the receipts.”
DeSorbo previously addressed the rumors on her “Giggly Squad” podcast in January 2025, one month after her split from Conover, 37, was confirmed.
“I don’t care about any rumor that is, like, ever said about me,” she said at the time. “The only thing that I was like, ‘OK, I can’t let this go by,’ was because it was a third party involved, it was people saying I cheated on Craig with Marcello. Which, when I first saw that, I died laughing.”
She continued, “I felt weird, I was like, I feel like I have to text Marcello because what if he sees it, what if he has a girlfriend? I just texted him and I was like, ‘Hey, just want to let you know there’s a rumor around that I cheated on my boyfriend with you’ and he was just like, ‘F*** yeah!’”
DeSorbo announced her split from Conover during an episode of “Giggly Squad” in December 2024.
“I have so much love and respect for Craig,” she said at the time. “I think he is one of the best people I have ever met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best because he is the best. But with that said, I think it was just the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives and the direction in our lives that we didn’t force.”
Following her split from Conover, DeSorbo moved on with boyfriend Joe D’Amelio, Us confirmed in July 2025. That same month, Hernandez and girlfriend Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral made their red carpet debut.
