Welcome to the world, little Casper! Wet Hot American Summer star Marguerite Moreau and her actor husband Christopher Redman introduced a newborn son on Thursday, July 16, Us Weekly can confirm.
A rep confirms to Us that Casper Hayes Redman was born last week, weighing in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces. The new parents have been married May 2010.
The quiet couple hinted at their baby news on July 6, when the former child star posted a shot to Instagram of herself sporting a baby bump, reading, "Any day now." She added a caption to the photo, writing, "Oh! This has been also going on for the last nine months #babytime."
On Sunday, July 19, Redman shared an adorable photo of the tiny tot, writing, "Look what we did. Bringing the rain to LA since 7/16/2015. All healthy, all happy."
It's an exciting time for Moreau, 38, as her acting career is also as busy as ever. The actress starred as camp counselor Katie in the 2001 cult classic Wet Hot American Summer, and will reprise the role in the highly anticipated Netflix prequel series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp later this month.
Moreau is featured in the spinoff alongside big stars such as Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Molly Shannon, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Michael Ian Black, Elizabeth Banks, Judah Friedlander, Chris Pine, and Jon Hamm, among others. The new mother has also made appearances on The O.C., Mad Men, Grey's Anatomy, and What About Brian.
Her husband, meanwhile, has been expanding his resume with small-screen work. Redman's recent credits include parts in CSI: Miami, Rizzoli & Isles, Graceland, and Reign.
