She’s a married woman now! Escorted by her twin sister Ashley, newlywed Mary-Kate Olsen stepped out on Tuesday, Dec. 8, for a smoke break in NYC, sporting her wedding band after marrying Olivier Sarkozy last month.
The Row designer, 29, coordinated outfits with Ashley, and both wore long cream coats and chic shades. The girls clutched coffee cups for their morning outing, and chatted on the sidewalk as Mary-Kate took a drag from her cigarette.
On the star’s left ring finger was a dainty, fine, gold band that the first-time wife nearly covered with her long-sleeved blouse. In her right arm, she clutched her iPhone, credit card, and a pack of cigarettes.
This is the first time Mary-Kate has been photographed since tying the knot with Sarkozy, 46, in an intimate ceremony on Nov. 27. As previously reported by Us Weekly, the Full House alum and her longtime banker beau invited about 50 close family members and friends to the wedding festivities held at their Manhattan home.
“It was very small and lovely,” a source told Us of the nuptials.
Though Olsen did not invite her Full House family, she plans to continue the fiesta this summer. Meanwhile, Bob Saget, who played her TV dad on the ’90s sitcom, warmly congratulated Mary-Kate and her husband days after they tied the knot. “I was not invited,” he told the Today show last month. “But I’m very happy. I did send a mazel tov text . . . I love her very much, and I hope that they’re happy.”
Her TV sister Candace Cameron Bure, however, was slightly less enthusiastic about missing the special occasion. “My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail,” Bure, 39, told Cosmopolitan on Monday, Dec. 7.
