The more you know! Matt Lauer brings the news to millions of viewers each day, but as it turns out, the Today show co-host has a lot more to say once he steps away from his desk. The journalist was the next celebrity in line to take Vogue’s popular “73 Questions” video series — and some of his answers might surprise you!
Lauer rattled off random facts about himself as he took a tour around the Today show set at Rockefeller Center. His pre-show ritual? Rubbing Al Roker’s head, of course! He also revealed that Chris Rock was the most intimidating interview he’s ever done and he can’t live without his computer, toothbrush, and nose hair trimmer(!) in his office.
Lauer’s coworkers got in on the fun to ask the laundry list of questions. There were surprises along the way, but some appearances included Carson Daly, Tamron Hall, Willie Geist, and Hoda Kotb.
The Today show veteran, 57, also took the opportunity to squash some rumors. One that he says isn’t true is that he’s hard to work with.
As for the one interview he conducted that will go down in history? Hint: “You’re glib!”
