They’ve spent numerous episodes of The Real Housewives of New Jersey bickering and lashing out at one another, but when it comes down to it, Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice are always family first. Last week the cookbook author, 42, was sentenced to 15 months in prison for fraud, and her husband Joe Giudice received 41 months.

Since the shocking sentencing, the Giudices have taped the reunion special for the RHONJ and sat down with Bravo host Andy Cohen for a special segment of Watch What Happens Live

In the aftermath of her sister-in-law’s sad news, Gorga, 35, took to her Bravo blog to express her sadness for the verdict.

“Obviously this has been a very tough week. We are heartbroken for our family and especially those four sweet girls,” she said of the Giudices’ four daughters. “Pray for them. No matter how you feel, I hope everyone is wishing their family strength and faith.”

Throughout the entire process, Teresa has been scared for the fate of her daughters Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5. On WWHL, she admitted that Gia is the only one who knows her mother is heading to prison.

"They don't know anything," Teresa said of her three youngest, after revealing that she’s heading to prison on January 5, 2015.
