Hey there, baby boy Carter! Nick Carter shared the first photo of his son, Odin Reign, via Instagram on Friday, April 29, and the former boy bander is most certainly already head over heels for his newborn.
“I just love how peaceful he is,” Carter, 36, captioned the precious snapshot. “Daddy will be home soon Odin. #babies #love #family.”
In the image, Carter’s tiny bundle of joy has his hands to his ears and his eyes shut tightly as he’s swaddled in a soft blanket.
Carter and his wife, Lauren Kitt, welcomed their first child together earlier this month, on Tuesday, April 19, via a water birth at their Hidden Hills, California, home.
The pair have been chronicling Kitt’s pregnancy since Us Weekly exclusively broke the news that the couple was expecting last October.
“They are so happy and overjoyed,” an insider told Us at the time. “They’ve been trying and waiting for such a long time.”
As revealed during season 21 of Dancing With the Stars, Carter and the fitness pro suffered a tragic miscarriage prior to this pregnancy.
“We were pregnant before, and we lost the baby,” Kitt revealed in a pretaped segment of the November 2 episode. “It was really hard on Nick and just watching him get so excited about something and then to see him so hurt, that was hard.”
