Nick Carter

As the blue-eyed, blonde haired pretty boy of the hit boy band the Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter was a heartthrob since the band first hit the stage in 1996.

After wooing girls throughout the world in a almost Beatle-like fashion for over five years, the group parted ways in 2001.

The following year, Carter attempted a solo career when he released Now or Never. The album reached no. 17 on the Billboard 200 charts and was certified gold.

In 2006, he, along with his siblings, starred in a reality show for E! called House of Carters. The show featured all five Carter siblings reuniting to live in the same house. The show was not renewed for a second season.

The performer reunited with his BSB bandmates to release the 2007’s comeback album, Unbreakable, which was accompanied by a subsequent worldwide concert tour.

Carter’s personal life has had its ups and downs, just like his career. He has been romantically linked to everyone from Paris Hilton to Ashlee Simpson and even went on a date with comedian Kathy Griffin as part of her My Life on the D-List reality series.

In February 2009 he came clean about his years of drug and alcohol abuse, admitting that he only achieved sobriety after being diagnosed with cardiomyopathy.
