Delena forever! Nina Dobrev may have cried her eyes out during the last week of filming The Vampire Diaries, but it was all fun and games while shooting with ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder.
"#FBF to last week with @IanSomerhalder shooting our final 'Damon and Elena' scene," Dobrev, 26, captioned via Instagram on Friday, April 24. "#TVDFamily #PolaroidSeries."
The Degrassi alum and Somerhalder, 36, split in May 2013 after three years of dating. Dobrev briefly moved on with Dancing With the Stars' Derek Hough, while the hunky star began to date Twilight's Nikki Reed. Us Weekly confirmed in January that the couple got engaged after a six-month whirlwind romance.
Delena fans were devastated (as they should be!) to learn that Dobrev would be leaving the CW series after six seasons. She announced the news in a heartfelt message on April 6.
"I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime," she wrote at the time. "I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May."
