One Direction Sends Support to Justin Bieber

One Direction

Only a handful of people in the world can understand what it's like to be Justin Bieber.

And the guys from One Direction are five of them. They know what it's like to encounter an audience full of shrieking female fans, experience mishaps at concerts, and to constantly be tailed by the paparazzi.

So it surely meant a lot to the Biebs when the British boy band's Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson gave support shout-outs to the singer via Twitter.

"Although I don't know him personally," 21-year-old Tomlinson wrote Saturday. "I do wish the press would take it easy on @justin bieber. I really do empathise with him, I don't see anything out of character in comparison to any other teenagers I know."

Malik, 20, seconded the sentiment for his fellow heartthrob.

"@Louis_Tomlinson what a dude man 😀 ha got your back bro !! @justinbieber."

Bieber felt the love from the guys and sent it right back at them.

"@zaynmalik @Louis_Tomlinson thanks fellas," he wrote. "all good over here. much appreciated."

The Canadian singer has had a rough time of it lately, following his breakup with Selena Gomez, collapse at a London concert, and more. A lot more.

Do you think things will get better for Beiber any time soon?
