Ozzy Osbourne wants out of the doghouse.
The rocker, 67, told his wife, Sharon, “he’ll go to any lengths necessary to repair the damage” caused by his alleged tryst with L.A. hairstylist Michelle Pugh, a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
Thus, the estranged pair recently sat for a “mediated discussion” with a marriage counselor, says the insider, who adds, “He wants his family back.”
Since the couple separated after nearly 33 years of marriage in early May, a second source says Ozzy has been “groveling” to Sharon, 63, in hopes of regaining her trust. But with the Black Sabbath frontman heading out on the group’s world tour this summer, time is running out.
“The Osbournes have been through thick and thin together and have stayed together through it all,” says the insider. “This is putting them all through a really horrible time."
Still, the mom to Aimee, 32, Kelly, 31, and Jack, 30, has been staying strong thanks to support from friends, family and fans.
"I honestly cannot thank people enough for their backing me,” Sharon told The Talk audience May 10. “For saying they love me. For everybody here at my home, supporting me, sending me messages of love. I honestly am empowered and I have found this inner strength and I'm like, ‘Right. OK. What's next?’"
