Burying the hatchet. Pamela Anderson finalized her divorce from Rick Salomon on Wednesday, April 29, and the exes are making an effort to move forward in a civil manner.
The Baywatch star, 47, ended her second marriage to her third husband after about a year and half. She and Salomon were previously married from 2007 to 2008.
While their divorce proceedings got messy with public spats and a talked-about moment when Salomon, 47, called Anderson a “serial baby killer,” the two released a statement on Wednesday apologizing for their actions and taking a more respectful tone with one another.
“Public divorces can be harsh and cruel – we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused,” the joint statement to Us Weekly reads. “We have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on.”
“There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste,” the statement continues. “We wish each other and our families well.”
Anderson is the mother of two sons, Brandon, 18, and Dylan, 17, from her first marriage to Tommy Lee in the 1990s. The Playboy alum was also married to Kid Rock for a few months in 2006.
