She speaks! She's been world famous for over three years now, but Pippa Middleton has, amazingly, never consented to a television interview—until now. Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's scene-stealing little sister, 30, spoke with Matt Lauer on the TODAY show in a much-promoted interview, with part one airing on Monday, June 30.

In the sit-down, the British socialite, entrepreneur and philanthropist told Lauer that she was surprised by the huge pomp and circumstance of her sister's April 2011 wedding to Prince William. "We saw it as a family wedding," she chirped in a charming, proper accent. "I didn't realize the scale of it until afterwards. We really saw it as a family getting together and doing their bit. To me, it was just performing in front of a lot of people, just not the world. It was surreal!"

As for that Alexander McQueen bridesmaid dress—which accentuated her instantly-celebrated backside and nearly stole the show from her now-royal sister's look—the younger Middleton girl said all of the attention paid was "completely unexpected. The plan was not for it to be a significant dress."

After the "embarassing" chatter about the sexy dress, Pippa has hidden the historic frock from view. "It's in my wardrobe at home," the Londoner said. "I haven't worn it since—I think I'll just keep it there."
