Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Cameron Rorrison is recalling just some of the late model’s most admirable qualities in a touching tribute shared nearly one week after his untimely death.
“I’ve had a difficult time finding the words as I feel like nothing I could say would ever do justice to the person Presley was,” Rorrison, 28, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, September 27. “But I’d like for him to be remembered for a few things…”
She continued, “Anyone who was lucky enough to have the gift of knowing Presley will know him and remember him for his wide open heart, his inspiring compassion and incredible understanding. One of the most amazing things about him was his humanity and his unique way of making every person, no matter who, feel as brilliant and important as the next. And incredibly beautiful quality I have yet to see as honest and pure in another person since.”
Us confirmed Gerber’s death on September 20. According to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office records obtained by Us, Gerber was a resident at an inpatient rehab facility at the time of his death. Us also previously confirmed that Gerber was pronounced dead at 9:45 a.m. local time by responding paramedics. He was 27.
The model’s body was released after a full autopsy was completed on Monday, September 21. According to online records viewed by Us, Gerber’s cause of death is still listed as “deferred,” with no timetable for when official results will be released. No foul play is suspected at the time of publication, and authorities are treating Presley’s death as a possible overdose. Per TMZ, his body was cremated five days after his death on Friday, September 25.
The model is survived by his parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and his sister, Kaia Gerber.
“He was an angel in this life and will be in the next,” Rorrison, who dated Presley for two years from 2018 to 2020, continued in her Saturday tribute. “I hope you can feel the outpouring of love up there Pres.”
A number of Presley’s former girlfriends have shared emotional tributes in honor of the late model and in the wake of his death.
Rest easy king,” Charlotte D’Alessio wrote via Instagram on Friday, September 25, alongside several photos featuring Gerber. “Love you so much Pres. Connected for life. I’ll talk to you soon.”
D’Alessio, who also dated Presley for around two years, first broke her silence in the wake of the model’s death on Monday, September 21.
“Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honor your life,” the 28-year-old wrote via her Instagram Story at the time. “You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry [about] this.”
She continued at the time, “Love u Pres. Up there, down here. Don’t ever doubt that. We all love you so much. I hope you can feel it.”
