Will Uncle Harry play magician at the bash? Prince George turns 1 years old on Tuesday, July 22—and is celebrating with the royal and Middleton families! It’s been a year of firsts for England’s future king and we can’t stop squealing about his royal cuteness.

1. He’s Arrived!
Then-unnamed Prince George arrived at 4:24 p.m. at 8 lbs. and 6 oz. on Monday, July 22. The following day, Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out with their bundle of joy for photographs. “May he be long-lived, happy, and glorious, and one day reign over us!” a town crier proclaimed. “God save the Queen!”
2. Christening
Prince George, the royal family and the Middleton’s took official photos with the little tyke after celebrating his christening at St. James’ Palace in London on Oct. 23, 2013. A source told Us the Duke and Duchess were “very excited” at the time and their boy had “been as good as gold.”
3. Royal Tour Begins!
Prince George had several of his best moments while the family went on their first-ever three-week New Zealand and Australia tour. On April 7, the trio were photographed touching down in New Zealand. Kate wore a red Catherine Walker coat and Gina Foster hat while Prince George wore a cream-colored sweater and white shorts.
4. Playtime!
Prince George stole the show (and toys!) from other babies as he took part in a playgroup with 10 other families in the Blundell Room at Government House in Wellington, New Zealand on April 9. The baby boy had fun playing with a wooden doll and drums.
5. Ouch!
Just like many others, it seems like Prince George can’t get enough of his mom’s hair. The toddler pulled at Kate’s hair and sucked on her locks during the playdate at Blundell Room. “He’s teething!” Middleton told guests at the time.
6. Frame-worthy
Prince George snuggled up on Kate’s shoulder in-between playing with his peers at the event. “She [the Duchess] said it was just lovely and that it was her favorite photo of the tour,” Wellington City councillor Simon Woolf told reporters.
7. Furry Friends!
Prince George, Kate and Prince William visited the Bilby Enclosure at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia on April 20. The couple’s adorable son wore a blue polo shirt and matching shorts.
8. Had Enough!
Prince George sported the colors of Australia’s flag as he and his parents waved goodbye and boarded a plane officially ending their three-week tour on April 25. The 9-month-old appeared to scrunch his face with displeasure for several of the photos.
9. Growing Boy
Prince George was photographed crawling with the help of his mom as they attended the Jerudong Park Trophy at Cirencester Park Polo Club in Cirencester, England on June 15.
10. They’ve Got a Walker!
Kate and Prince William released a picture of Prince George walking ahead of his 1st birthday on July 22. “He was very lively, very confident and very sure of himself,” photographer John Stillwell told Us. “He’s a very determined young boy. And who does he look like? I’d have to say his dad, William.”
