Prince Harry Breaks His Toe Weeks Before 208-Mile Trek in South Pole

Prince Harry broke his toe weeks before South Pole trek
Prince Harry

Poor hobblin' Harry. Prince Harry has broken his toe, a Palace spokesman confirms to Us Weekly. According to a source, the red-haired royal sustained the injury "in the last few weeks," although no other details have been revealed. The setback couldn't come at a worst time for Prince George's 29-year-old uncle: Next month, the Royal Air Force Apache helicopter pilot will lead a team of disabled British war veterans in Walking with the Wounded, a 208-mile, 16-day trek . . . . through the South Pole!

Broken toe or not, the sexy spare heir and Afghanistan vet will be doing the charity race as planned. "There is no doubt about the South Pole trek," the spokesman adds. "He will definitely be going.”

"There is no way Harry will let this get in the way," the source adds. "He is receiving treatment."

Harry's extensive, intense training for the trek included a chilly night in a -35C freezer last month; other Walking with the Wounded participants will include Alexander Skarsgard and Dominic West. Harry was last spotted at his nephew's christening last week.
