Try as they might, Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy can't seem to fight the magnetic force that keeps pulling them back together.
A source tells Us Weekly that the off-again, on-again loves are back to their old habits and are testing out the waters.
"They're not dating again, but they are seeing each other," the source says. "There's definitely a romantic connection still. They will never be 'just friends' — both of them admit that's impossible."
The 27-year-old royal and Davy, 26, ended their five-year relationship in 2009 but have remained amicable and in each other’s lives since the split. Davy not only nabbed an invite to Prince William and Kate Middleton's April 29, 2011 wedding, but she was also spotted reuniting with her former beau back in December at a London club.
A second source tells Us that Davy, who just finished up her law training at Allen & Overy, has landed a full-time job at the London-based firm for approximately 60,000 GBP ($97,000) a year. Her location would make things easy for a rekindled romance, so long as Prince Harry's military and royal duties don't keep him away from his new bachelor pad in Kensington Palace, located in West London.
"If Harry can stay in London for a while then he has a good chance of being back on with Chelsy, but she doesn't like it when he has to go away for months on end," the first source tells Us. "It's easier to be apart than together and pining for someone you can't see."
