A different type of royal wave. Prince William learned a few killer dance moves from teenage instructors at Caius House Youth Centre in London Wednesday, September 14.
During his visit, the Duke of Cambridge, 34, joined the Scariofunk Dance Collective dance troupe for the day as he attempted several moves including the wave.
“I can never get the shoulder shiver right,” he admitted, according to the Daily Mail. “There is no pressure, because I will look ridiculous.”
Prince William’s mentor, 15-year-old dance instructor Candice Blake, gave him a “generous” 5 out of 10 for his performance. “But a 10 out of 10 for effort. He was up for it,” she added.
The royal — who is married to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge — also participated in an epic cake-decorating event for Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off during his trip to the youth center, which gives local young people “a safe place to go where they can try new things, develop talent further and have fun,” according to the organization’s website.
In between frosting cupcakes, he reportedly joked, “Mary Berry, eat your heart out!” (Berry is an English food writer and TV personality.)
Last week, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge “want a third baby soon.”
“It would not surprise me if they were pregnant by Christmas,” a family friend told Us of the royal couple, who are already parents of Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 16 months.
The family of four are scheduled to take a trip to Canada for an official visit later this month.
