Legally single and ready to mingle! Ramona Singer is officially divorced from her ex, Mario Singer, the Real Housewives of New York City star confirmed to Us Weekly on Thursday, September 22.
“We signed off on a divorce agreement last September. Unfortunately, it took the judge over a year to sign off on it due to paperwork glitches,” the Bravo personality, 59, told Us. “I found out yesterday from my attorney, who sent it to me along with a key chain that says, ‘The divorce is final.’”
As previously reported, Ramona discovered Mario was having an affair with socialite Kyle “Kasey” Dexter — who is 28 years his junior — back in 2013. Though she attempted to fix her decades-long marriage with the father of her 21-year-old daughter, Avery, the Ramona Pinot Grigio founder decided to pull the plug on their relationship in January 2014, when she filed divorce papers.
More than two years later, Ramona is finally a free bird. “I feel phenomenal,” the Life on the Ramona Coaster author shared with Us. “I look better than ever and I’m happier than ever.”

On the heels of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s shocking split this week, the mom of one feels grateful to have had a good run with Mario. “Most marriages don’t last 20-plus years. Look at Brad and Angelina,” she quipped to Us. “[Mario] was a great husband, but he wants to retire and live in Florida, and I feel young in my mind.”
The bubbly blonde added, “We were on different paths. I’m full of life and vitality and I have more energy than a 25-year-old. I’m very excited. I have no idea where this is going, but I’m excited.”
Back in June, Ramona opened up to Us about the struggle of handling a bitter breakup in the limelight.
“I mean, listen, let’s face it: Half the marriages [on Real Housewives] do end in divorce, and they end in divorce for a lot of assorted reasons,” she explained at the time. “I think it’s a really sad thing that it becomes public. I mean, something like this, you want to keep private. You want to protect your children and it’s just hard enough to deal with without it being all over the media.”
