Calling all Nicks, Nicoles, and Christophers! On Thursday, Dec. 10, anyone with a name resembling one of Santa Claus’ many monikers will get a free chicken burger, Red Robin announced two days earlier.
According to the restaurant chain’s official site, those who are lucky enough to be named some derivative of “Nick” or “Chris” will get a delicious meal as part of Red Robin’s #NameThatChicken contest.
“The holiday season is a time for having fun, and we’re always looking for new ways to surprise our guests,” Denny Marie Post, Red Robin’s executive vice president and chief concept officer, said in a statement on the site.
“Our new #NameThatChicken Burger has received so many creative name submissions and guests who have tried it, LOVE it,” he continued. “So, we were inspired to share in the name game fun by treating some of our guests to a free chance to try this delicious new item in our Finest Burger line-up.”
In order to claim their free chicken burger, patrons will have to provide a valid photo ID that proves that they’re on Santa’s good list.
And an important thing to note: The deal only holds for first names, not middle or last names. Red Robin’s special offer lasts one day only.
