Remember when? For a decade Regis Philbin spent every weekday next to Kelly Ripa as the co-hosts of Live! With Regis and Kelly, but the veteran TV host revealed in a new interview that their relationship has changed in a big way.
Philbin, 83, caught up with Today's Hoda Kotb on her SiriusXM show, and was asked about Ripa, 44.
"I haven't seen her," he said of his former costar, with whom he appeared on the morning show for more than 10 years. "I don't see her."
He went on to confirm that he has not spent time with Ripa at all in the three-and-a-half years since he exited Live! in November 2011, saying simply, "No, I haven't."
The Who Wants to Be a Millionaire alum claimed that he's not bothered by this estrangement. "I was over there yesterday as a matter of fact to do something for them," Philbin noted of ABC's studios in New York City.
The longtime TV personality spoke positively of his time with Ripa, who now hosts the show with Michael Strahan, confirming that they had a good run together. Philbin also touched on another one of his co-hosts, Ripa's Live! predecessor and Kotb's partner, Kathie Lee Gifford.
"She lives in Greenwich and I'm a weekend guy there, so I do see a lot of her," he said of the anchor, 61. Now starring on the fourth hour of Today, Gifford appeared with Philbin on Live! for 12 years before her departure in 2000.
