Robin Williams’ three children are sharing their continued plans on how to celebrate and honor their late father’s talents more than 10 years after his death.

“As we recognize what would be our Dad’s 75th year, we’re grateful to see new generations discovering his work while longtime fans continue to celebrate the joy he brought into their lives,” Zak, Zelda and Cody Williams wrote via Instagram on Monday, August 17. “As technology evolves, we want this to be a safe, trusted place where the stories, photos, videos and memories shared reflect his legacy with authenticity, warmth and care.”

Although Robin’s official Instagram account has been inactive since July 2014, his children’s latest post suggests more content will be coming soon.

“This is our way of sharing his unique talent and humor with the world, including the moments that made us and so many of you laugh, as we remember our Dad’s extraordinary life and work,” the statement continued. “He continues to inspire us and delight people all over the world. Zak, Zelda, and Cody Williams.”

To further illustrate the attention behind the page, Robin’s verified Instagram now has a bio that states, “This page is dedicated to spreading the joy of Robin’s legacy.”

Robin died by suicide in August 2014 at the age of 63. Although the Oscar-winning actor battled addiction for decades, he had been sober for many years before his death.

The final autopsy report released by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office showed no alcohol or drugs in Williams’ system. Instead, he was suffering from depression, anxiety and the early stages of Parkinson’s Disease.

In October 2025, Zelda, 37, asked fans to stop sharing AI-generated videos of her late father. She called the videos “dumb” and “a waste of time and energy,” adding that her dad would share the same views.

“Believe me, it’s NOT what he’d want,” Zelda argued. “To watch the legacies of real people be condensed down to ‘this vaguely looks and sounds like them so that’s enough’, just so other people can churn out horrible TikTok slop puppeteering them is maddening.”

“Dad, it’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years,” Zak, 43, shared via Instagram. “Today, I’m reflecting on the immense love you shared with all of us — your family, your friends, and everyone you met. You continue to inspire me every single day to do whatever I can to help create a more connected and loving world for our family. Love you forever ❤️.”
