Ryan Edwards’ wife, Amanda Conner, reportedly called the police on her husband one day after she was arrested for an alleged DUI and child abuse.
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported that Conner called the authorities at 6 a.m. on Monday, May 25. During the call, Conner shared that she wanted “to get her belongings from her husband” and claimed that “he has a history of physical abuse.”
The outlet confirmed cops were sent to Conner and Edwards’ home in response to the call, but no arrests were made.
Prior to the call, Conner and Edwards were spotted together after she was released from jail. The pair were seen at a gas station and Conner wore an ankle monitor, per the outlet.
Over the weekend, Edwards allegedly called the cops on Conner. According to audio obtained by TMZ on Sunday, May 24, a husband called authorities with concerns that his wife had been using narcotics. The dispatcher did not share Edwards and Conner’s names during the call.
The audio alleged that the wife would not submit to a drug test and had left with their 15-month-old daughter, Presley, in the car. (The Teen Mom alum is also father to son Bentley, 16, whom he shares with ex Maci Bookout McKinney, and son Jagger, 10, and daughter Stella, 5, with ex MacKenzie Standifer. Conner also has a daughter from a previous relationship.)
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Jail in Tennessee confirmed to TMZ that Conner was taken into custody following the call. Conner was charged with child abuse/neglect for allegedly driving under the influencer with a baby in the vehicle. She was also charged for allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road.
Conner’s bond was set for $16,000. Conner is not allowed to contact the alleged child victim in the wake of her release. Her court hearing is scheduled for June 3.
Edwards seemingly addressed the drama with Conner in a cryptic Facebook post.
“I will NOT be answering any questions,” he wrote on Monday. “Please keep us in your prayers.”
Earlier this year, rumors swirled that Conner and Edwards were headed towards a split. Conner denied the split rumors, claiming a previous cryptic post was not in reference to Edwards.
“Just because I make a post doesn’t mean there’s anything going on with me and Ryan or me and anyone else,” Conner shared via Instagram in January. “I also have a life, and I also have other family. Everything I post does not directly mean it’s about me and Ryan or whatever.”
