Congrats! Ryan Phillippe and his longtime girlfriend, Paulina Slagter, are engaged, a source confirms to Us Weekly. The Secrets and Lies actor proposed on Christmas, the insider tells Us. The couple celebrated their engagement over lunch at Seaspice in Miami on Sunday, December 27.
Phillippe and Slagter, a 24-year-old law school student, have been dating for four years.
“She's awesome,” Phillippe, 41, recently gushed of Slagter during an interview with Howard Stern. “When people see her they have these judgments because she could be a model, but she's about to graduate Stanford Law."
The happy couple are expected to celebrate the new year at the Five Star New Year’s Eve bash on Watson Island in Miami.
Phillippe was previously married to Reese Witherspoon from 1999 to 2007. Together they share kids Ava, 16, and Deacon, 12. The actor is also dad of daughter Kai, 4, with ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp, who he dated in 2010.
