Ryan Seacrest and NBC News reporter Andrea Canning were roommates back in the day, Seacrest revealed.

Before he shared a pad with ex-girlfriend Julianne Hough, Ryan Seacrest lived with another famous blonde: NBC News reporter Andrea Canning! On his syndicated radio show April 5, the 38-year-old KIIS-FM host revealed he once lived with the 40-year-old journalist in the Los Angeles area during their early twenties.

"We actually, the three guys that lived together prior, we decided that we should look for a stranger," Seacrest recalled of hunting for a fourth roommate. "But, even better, we should have a girl stranger move in who can help us recruit [women] because we were 22 and completely single. . . At the time when we were going out it was much easier to meet a girl if we had a girl with us, as opposed to just three guys being together. That was part of Andrea moving in. We were like, 'We're going to need your help here!'"

Canning phoned in to Seacrest's show to reminisce about their Hollywood beginnings. "This came out of the blue!" she laughed. "I met you at one of your raging parties. We all ended up having those parties, but that's what I remember the most. They were so much fun!"

"Is this one of those parties where we had the beer in the trash can?" Seacrest asked.

"Yes," Canning replied. "We'd go to Costco and stock up. I remember there was some young Hollywood there, like Keri Russell and Pam Anderson. . . The Baywatch people came once."

"Was Pamela Anderson there?" Seacrest wondered. "I think it was David Chokachi." Canning later added, "Our parties became so legendary that we had to move, remember? The cops kept shutting them down! There were too many people and the neighborhood was plain."

During their time as roommates, Canning had her own bathroom — for an additional charge — and bought a bed from Seacrest for $50. "He's still asking me for the money," the Dateline correspondent joked.
