Nothing to see here. Lingerie model Sarah Stage defended her social media selfie that featured her baby son, James, sleeping on the floor of a shopping mall fitting room.

Stage, 31, first went viral this past spring for posting an Instagram snapshot of her six-pack abs — nine months into her pregnancy. In her latest controversy, the fit model posted photos of herself via Snapchat, trying on dresses inside a fitting room at a mall in L.A.'s Sherman Oaks neighborhood. One particular photo, however, did not sit well with eagle-eyed critics.

In the offending snap, Stage poses provocatively in a teal gown while her 8-month-old tot sleeps on the floor with his arms spread out. Stage followed up with another cute pic in her Snapchat story of her son adorably sporting a reindeer hat and snoozing peacefully as he's bundled up in blankets. "I don't wanna wake him," she wrote alongside the pic.

Stage told TMZ on Tuesday, December 22, that contrary to what critics have been suggesting, her son was on a clean blanket — not a dirt-carpeted floor. In fact, the model said she was in the dressing room for close to an hour and wanted her little one to get his naptime in.

The headline-making fitness model welcomed her son this past April. Although she looked incredible during her pregnancy, the baby was never at risk, she insisted. “As long as the baby is healthy, I don’t think anything else matters,” Stage told Good Morning America in March. “That should be the most important thing.”
