Forget lullabies! Scarlett Johansson sings jazz tunes to calm her baby girl.

Lullabies just won’t do for Scarlett Johansson. An insider tells Us Weekly that the actress, 30, soothes daughter Rose, 11 months, by singing old-school jazz.

“When Rose is screaming, the nanny gives her to Scarlett,” the source reveals of the Avengers star and wife of French journalist Romain Dauriac. “Scarlett is the only one that can calm her down.”

Johansson, who released her own albums in 2008 and 2009, “likes to sing Nina Simone and Anita O’Day as well as her own songs, too. Scarlett has a beautiful voice, and Rose will stop crying immediately!” the source adds.

Johansson gushed about Rose to Parade in April.

“The biggest joy that I have is looking at my daughter,” she said. “When I’m just hanging out with her and we’re doing silly stuff and if I make her laugh, the feeling of joy I have is explosive…if only you could actually bottle that and carry it around.”
