Seal just got real — about the holidays! The Grammy Award–winning singer made a hilarious appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, December 15, and spread some not-so-jolly Christmas joy to the audience by way of a funny faux album.
Jimmy Kimmel, 48, introduced the clip with a note that the “Kissed By a Rose” crooner had come up with a new series of songs “for anyone who loves Christmas for what it really is.”
In the video, Seal, 52, sits in a comfortable plaid armchair before a roaring fire, a Christmas tree and several stockings.
“Hello, I’m Seal,” he begins. “Every Christmas, artists like myself release albums about the joy and wonder of the season. But what about the parts of Christmas that aren’t quite so joyous? What about the parts of Christmas that kind of suck? Well, now there’s an album for that too.”
Heidi Klum’s ex then runs through a series of songs on the fake album, Seal’s Honest Christmas Carols, including “No One Likes Your Ugly Sweater Parties,” “Mom’s Drunk Again” and “My Cousin’s New Boyfriend Is a D–k.”
