Patrick Schwarzenegger's days as a high school student are nearly over.
On Saturday, the 18-year-old son of actor/former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and activist/TV journalist Maria Shriver attended prom with his "best friend" Jade Iovine. Patrick uploaded a photo to his Instagram account Sunday that shows Jade pinning a boutonniere to his suit jacket.

Like Patrick, Jade comes from a famous family: Her music producer father, Jimmy Iovine, is chairman of Interscope-Geffen-A&M. The 59-year-old — who's worked with everyone from Eminem to Enrique Iglesias — also mentors contestants on American Idol.
Arnold and Maria's eldest son was recently accepted by the University of Southern California. "I'm not going, but still I'm f-cking happy!" he tweeted. Though he's yet to reveal where he will attend college this fall, Patrick told Women's Wear Daily in 2011 that he was also applying to "Georgetown, Stanford and Penn."
In addition to being a full-time student and part-time model, Patrick also has his own clothing line, Project 360, which helps raise money for various charities. "My dad helps me a lot with my business side, and my mom and my grandparents [the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Sargent Shriver] had a huge influence with the charitable component and the idea of giving back," Patrick told WWD. "I've learned everything from them."
