Selena Gomez Has Handler Hold Chick-fil-A Sandwich on Red Carpet: Photos

Hold the special sauce. Selena Gomez had a handler hold her half-eaten Chick-fil-A sandwich on the KIIS FM Jingle Ball red carpet in L.A. this past Sunday, Dec. 6, and there is proof.

The Victoria’s Secret performer, 23, stepped out for her glamorous photo op in a slinky, long-sleeve black gown with a thigh-high slit. While she beamed at the cameras and struck a celeb-approved, over-the-shoulder pose, her handler was snapped in the background of some pics holding the remaining half of her chicken sandwich.

One photo showed Gomez using her free hand to flip a strand of hair behind her shoulder; meanwhile, her red carpet rep clutched her sandwich in his left hand.

Though the Internet identified the delicious-looking snack as a cheeseburger, Us Weekly can confirm that it was a sandwich from Chick-fil-A. An observer backstage tells Us that Gomez noshed on the fast food brand with the members of One Direction — including (wink, wink!) Niall Horan — backstage at the annual show.

“The 1D guys were feasting on Chick-fil-A in their dressing room,” the eyewitness tells Us. “Selena joined them and was scarfing down a Chick-fil-A sandwich on her way to the stage.”
