Selena Gomez has her fair share of haters, and she’s over dealing with them. The former Disney star, who has recently been criticized for her new curves, told a fan during a Google Hangout chat on Thursday, May 14, that she’d like the world to eliminate the hate.
“I’d get rid of bullying,” the Adidas NEO collaborator told the fan when asked if she could change one thing in the world. “People are so mean, it’s exhausting.”
The 22-year-old, who made headlines after showing off her bod in a revealing bikini during a trip to Mexico last month, recently addressed body-shamers on Instagram. 
“I love being happy with me y’all #theresmoretolove,” she proudly captioned a swimsuit photo of herself, flaunting her curves while lounging by the pool in Mexico.
Haters aside, the “Come & Get It” songstress had wise advice for her fans.
“If I’m not enjoying what I’m doing, then I’m doing something wrong,” Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend offered. “I think life is very, very, very hard and I’ve never had anything come super easy to me no matter what people may think, and I continue to be the best I can be and I just want to enjoy it. We only have one life and it is very precious, there’s a lot that we can do and there’s a lot that we should do. If you’re good and you’re kind to other people and you work hard and you’re actually doing something with your life, I think that’s so fulfilling.”
The maturing pop star herself has found solace in the studio recording her fourth studio album.
“I’ve been endlessly working on my new album, that’s almost kind of close to being done,” she updated the group. “I’ve been in the studio constantly, and I’m so anxious for you guys to see everything and hear everything. But just know that it’s the best that I’ve ever done and you guys won’t be disappointed!”
