The BFFs are back! MTV announced this week that the reality program about the Jersey Shore besties, Snooki & JWoww, will return for a fourth season.
Once the wild children of their shore house, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley are now both engaged and pregnant — life changes that will be documented in the next season of their show. The pair told Us the next episodes will begin filming right around JWoww’s due date.
Polizzi, 26, is expecting her second child with fiancé Jionni LaValle, following the August 2012 birth of the couple’s first child, Lorenzo Dominic LaValle. This will be the first child for Farley, 28, and her fiancé, Roger Mathews.
Farley lamented the pains of her first pregnancy at MTV’s upfront presentation in New York City on Thursday, April 24, telling Us that she feels “like s–t,” adding, “there’s nothing great about getting bigger.”
Snooki, who is due after JWoww, told Us, “She’s seven months [along] and I’m four months so she’s at that point where it’s like, ‘oh my god, I’m a whale, I’m so uncomfortable,’ and it only gets worse.”
The pint-sized reality star has had an easier pregnancy this time around, telling Us, “My first pregnancy I didn’t do anything. I just sat and ate on the couch and I was literally a whale — I slept 24 hours [a day]. And I was so negative and hated life cause I just didn’t feel good at all. With this pregnancy I’m working out and eating healthy and just way active — so I just feel better about life.”
“I’m working out and still active, but I hate everything,” Farley laughed. “I still complain.”
The product of Snooki’s first pregnancy, little Lorenzo, is doing “awesome,” she added. “He is actually really, really smart. I’m not just saying this ’cause it’s my son. But the doctor said he is very aware of things and he has really good speech because we teach him every single day. I want him to be really smart, so when I say, ‘Lorenzo, where’s the baby?’ He goes, ‘baby,’ and points to his belly. I think he is starting to realize and he knows what a baby is.”
“He’s going to be two [years old], so he’s getting to that age where he can actually communicate. It’s a fun age.” she said, adding about one of his less enjoyable milestones: “[He’s] picking his nose! He goes up there and just picks. Now that’s a milestone. Like he knows there’s boogies.”
A step Lorenzo has yet to reach is potty training — a skill that Snooki says it out of her hands. “I wanted to do that before I give birth but I don’t know,” she told Us. “It’s so much to think about. That’ll be Jionni’s job cause I don’t have a penis, I don’t know how it works.”
Snooki and JWoww, who are also both planning their upcoming weddings, added that it is fun being pregnant together. “It’s fun and it’s nice,” JWoww told Us. “Even if she wasn’t pregnant I’d still be asking her the same questions but… it’s nice she’s pregnant this season cause if this bitch gets any skinnier while I get fatter I’m gonna kill her.”
