Southern Charm’s Salley Carson is teasing new details about her connection with Summer House star Kyle Cooke.
In an Instagram Q&A on Monday, July 27, Salley, 31, received a question that read, “Kyle. Is it love. Is it fun. Or is it that [eggplant emoji].”
In response, Salley snapped a selfie of her drinking a beverage while on an airplane and looking off into the distance. “3 things can be true at the same time,” she wrote.
In a separate slide, Salley replied to a question asking when she’s “gonna settle down,” writing, “Y’all aren’t going to believe me… but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be so soon.”
A fan then followed up to ask if her “settling down [is] going to occur before or after six months,” to which Salley wrote, “It’ll happen when y’all least expert it like it could be happening now…”
Salley sparked a romance with Kyle, 43, after he and Amanda Batula announced their split in January after four years of marriage. In the months since, Amanda, 34, confirmed her relationship with their Summer House costar West Wilson — who is the ex of her former friend Ciara Miller.
In his single era, Kyle has been spotted packing on the PDA with Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King and has been linked to Next Gen NYC star Ava Dash. In June, sources told Us that Kyle and Salley were “hooking up.”
After the pair were spotted kissing, Salley opened up about her dynamic with Amanda.
“My issue with Amanda is — I had kissed Kyle in New York and Amanda asked them about it, and this is like after they’re separated, whatever,” Salley said on an episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s In a Pod” podcast earlier this month, sharing that this occurred after the Summer House season 10 reunion taping. “And then she found it and she kind of was like, ‘Be careful, she’s got a reputation.’ … When she’s saying that about me, she’s already f***ing West [Wilson].”
After cohost Tamra Judge asked what Amanda was referencing about Salley’s “reputation,” the Southern Charm star responded, “Just how I was being perceived on the show, I guess, and my edit.”
“Let’s talk about how she’s being perceived on the show right now,” Tamra added, referring to Amanda’s romance with West, 31, and the continued fallout. “You can’t throw that at people.”
Salley replied, “That’s what I’m saying. You of all people should understand what reality TV is like. You don’t really judge someone for their edit necessarily, unless you really know them and they deserved it. The audacity that she had to say that about me when she knew what she was doing that behind closed doors.”
