Summer House’s KJ Dillard threw some shade at West Wilson for flirting with his girlfriend, Dara Levitan.
KJ, 28, shared a moment between West, 31, and Dara, 33, from Summer House season 10 via Threads on Wednesday, May 13.
“I must say, hottest outfit this house has seen in a long time,” West told Dara as she was wearing a bikini and fur coat while in the snow.
Dara replied, “West, like, dap me the f*** up my man.”
KJ reacted to the moment with the angry swearing emoji. In a subsequent post, KJ expressed his frustration.
“My bros would never hit on my girl behind my back,” he wrote. “Bro code.”
KJ seemingly shaded West again by calling out the “snakes in the snow” in a follow-up post.
West and KJ, who were once friends, have been at odds ever since West confirmed he was dating costar Amanda Batula. West and Amanda’s unexpected relationship received a lot of backlash as West had an on and off relationship with Ciara Miller – who is best friends with Amanda, 34.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” the couple wrote via joint Instagram statement in April confirming their romance. “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
KJ, for his part, has made it clear that he doesn’t support West and Amanda’s relationship as he is also friends with Ciara, 30. He also expressed his disappointment that West didn’t reach out to him before going public with the news.
“I’m checking my text messages, but I never received anything,” KJ claimed via Threads in April. “The truth hurts, homie, tough love.”
The following month, KJ revealed during his Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen appearance that he received an apology text from West after filming the Summer House season 10 reunion. After some insistence from Cohen and the audience, KJ ultimately agreed to read it aloud.
“West says, ‘I wanted to thank you for your articulation and kindness yesterday despite being hurt. I’ve been off social and I think I lost touch with how much hurt there was. I’m incredibly sorry,’” KJ shared. “‘Also sending you love in regards to your mental health. You shared a lot yesterday and I know it mightn’t carry much weight now but I’m always rooting for the best for you. I know it will take some time but whenever you feel like you’re ready, lunch or a phone call would mean a lot in the spirit of healing. No need to respond, take your time.’”
