Secret listening parties, lyric reveals, and now this! Taylor Swift shared new music and teased the cover of her upcoming 1989 album even more in a new Target commercial, and Us Weekly has exclusive photos from the stylish shoot.
Swift, 24, will give fans a never-before-heard sneak peek of one of her new songs in the ad, which will also include imagery reflective of her album cover. (Swift released the artwork for her cover in August and her full track list on Oct. 23.)
The “Out of the Woods” singer worked closely with the company so that the Joseph Kahn-directed commercial will give an honest vision of her highly anticipated album. For the perfect finished product, Swift filmed all over NYC, from Park Ave. to the streets of SoHo.
Swift’s 1989 album will be available in Target stores on Oct. 27, and will share an extended version of her perspective on living in the Big Apple. It’ll also detail her songwriting process.
Swift’s Target commercial will premiere during primetime TV on Thursday, Oct. 23, and will run through Nov. 1. The promo has already been released online.
