Call her Saint Swifty! Taylor Swift surprised patients at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane, Australia, on Tuesday, July 12. The “Shake It Off” singer, 26, who has been spending time Down Under with her boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston, took time out of her schedule to kick it with some very appreciative kids.
“Thank you Taylor Swift for dropping by the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital this afternoon to give our patients and families a special surprise they’ll never forget,” the medical center wrote in a statement on their Facebook page. “They’ll never ‘shake off’ the memories you made tonight.”
The pop superstar had a great time getting to know the young’uns. The hospital took to Twitter to share a photo of T. Swift hanging out with a young patient by the name of Sam. In the snapshot, the music magnate leans into Sam, whose wide smile matches Swift’s.

As Swift spent her day with the children of Lady Cilento, her actor beau, 35, filmed scenes (as villain Loki) for his upcoming sequel Thor: Ragnarok in Queensland. The couple, who arrived in Australia on Friday, July 8, have shacked up in a penthouse in the seaside town of Broadbeach while Hiddleston is working in Oz.
Prior to their trip to the Gold Coast, the pair — who went public with their romance in June at Swift’s Rhode Island estate — vacationed in Rome where they visited the Vatican and the Colosseum. Before that, they traveled to Nashville, where Hiddleston met his ladylove’s parents, and then to England, where Swift was introduced to her man’s folks.
