Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are keeping wedding day details under wraps — even from their invited guests.
“Taylor and Travis told guests to be in NYC. No other location was provided,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, noting that invitees only know to be in the Big Apple on Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3.
According to the insider, Swift and Kelce, both 36, are planning a celebration “over two days.”
“They’re putting their guests on hold for a couple days,” the source says. “They are spending a lot of money – in the millions.”
Another source tells Us that a wedding event will take place at Madison Square Garden.
Swift and Kelce have been together since 2023, getting engaged two years later in August 2025. They’ve since been tight-lipped about plans for their big day.
“I think the wedding is what happens after [my Life of a Showgirl promotional tour] in the scheme of the planning, but I’m so excited about it,” Swift previously said on the Graham Norton Show in October 2025. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.”
Speculation recently surfaced that Swift and Kelce were eyeing a celebration at NYC’s MSG. NYC officials have already begun taking safety precautions for the presumed event at the famed arena, which is expected to have around 1,000 guests.
City sources confirmed to Us earlier this week that the Street Activity Permit Office, which issues event permits, is in touch with the New York Police Department regarding a possible influx of street and pedestrian traffic around the venue.
Kelce’s friend and Tight End University cohost San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle recently revealed, that despite being invited to Taylor and Travis’s big day, he’s out of the loop when it comes to the wedding venue.
“We don’t know,” Kittle, 32, told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, June 23, referring to wife Claire. “I actually asked Travis last night and he laughed at me.”
Kittle shared in a separate interview that Kelce and Swift said they wanted “absolutely no gifts” for their wedding.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani, meanwhile, might have hinted that Swift and Kelce will indeed say “I do” inside MSG.
“I am fully confident in the work of the NYPD, as well as our state partners, in delivering that safe experience,” Mamdani, 34, said during a June press conference, addressing the city’s preparations for hosting the 2026 World Cup. “We are the biggest city in the country. We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for this one.”
He continued, “We know it coincides with the [New York] Knicks’ [NBA] Finals run. We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding — all happening at the same time — and we are so excited to welcome the world here.”
