Don’t expect strippers to come between Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra! The Teen Mom OG couple made headlines this week when a new sneak-peek clip showed Baltierra going to a strip club for his bachelor party. (The footage was filmed before their wedding last summer.)
In the clip, the Michigan native is seen shoving dollar bills in a dancer’s G-string, moaning and staring at the topless strippers while on an outing with his groomsmen and his dad, Butch, who was recently released from jail.
Not only is Lowell aware of the footage, but on Thursday, January 7, the happily married star took to Twitter to defend her man.
“Girls stop tripping on tyler about the strip club lol,” she tweeted of her new husband, who she married in August after 10 years together. “It’s fine I had a stripper myself! It’s called TRUST! Without trust nothing will last.”
Baltierra retweeted his wife’s words, adding, “It’s not our responsibility to trust EVERYONE that’s around us. It’s our responsibility to trust JUST EACH OTHER!”
Earlier episodes of the MTV series appeared to document Lowell’s discomfort with Baltierra going to the strip club for his bachelor party, but she has previously said it was all a trick of editing.
“Let’s just say I am not ‘against strip clubs’ editing can make things feel more serious lol,” she tweeted during the premiere on January 4. “Reason why is because TRUST I trust my man!”
