Tre is thankful. Teresa Giudice gave a shout-out to her loyal fans just hours after her husband, Joe Giudice, headed to prison to begin his 41-month sentence.

“I want to thank all of you for the love & support you have shown my family during this difficult time,” Teresa, 43, tweeted on Wednesday, March 23. “It means the world to all of us.”

Following their emotional goodbye, the couple’s lawyer released a statement. “Joe Giudice surrendered himself to the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix today at 12 p.m. to begin serving his sentence,” attorney James J. Leonard Jr. told Us Weekly on Wednesday. “His brother, his sister and several other members of the Giudice family, as well as myself, were present when he turned himself in to the prison, including Teresa. It was obviously a very emotional day, but this is a very strong family with a tremendous support system and they will get through this, just as they did when Teresa was away.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars tried to squeeze in as much family time as possible before Joe began his incarceration. Teresa, more notably, shared several photos of Joe and their daughters — Gia, 15, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6 — via Instagram. On Wednesday, Teresa looked back at one night in particular.

“Daddy’s Girls,” she captioned one snapshot of Joe and their children. In a second, she added: “The Love of my Life.”

As previously reported, Joe will be able to access rudimentary email while in prison. A former Fort Dix employee also told Us that he is allowed visitors during business hours and will be given 300 minutes to use on the phone per month.
