Tim McGraw, who plays Sandra Bullock’s husband in The Blind Side, says he hasn't reached out to the actress, 45, since allegations erupted that her husband Jesse James cheated on her.
But McGraw, 42, has no doubt she is holding up well.
"She's tough," he tells Entertainment Tonight Canada in an interview airing Friday. "I'm not that tough."
"She's got a lot on her plate," he also says. "I just wish her nothing but the best."
("Marriage is work and there's rough spots for everybody," he also told Canadian entertainment show, eTalk. "You just have to work through it.")
While shooting The Blind Side last year, Bullock was "such a professional," McGraw tells ET. "She's so great. I've learned a lot from her. We certainly got friendly. She's a very friendly person. A really nice person."
And he says she is more than deserving of her Best Actress Oscar.
Says McGraw, "It’s such an elusive trophy, but her performance was so good that it was just so hard to overlook that."
